We are a Queensland based advertising agency with offices based in the Sunshine Coast and Cairns and we are looking for an experienced Advertising and Social Media Account Coordinator to join our dynamic Cairns team.
The Advertising and Social Media Account Coordinator is responsible for a portfolio of clients and assisting with research, strategy development, creative direction, media buying and social media for these clients. We have a full creative studio within the business who develop all creative assets, however the strategy, brief and direction for creative comes from the Account Coordinators and Account Directors.
As an Advertising and Social Media Account Coordinator you must maintain very strong relationships with all clients through regular face-to-face meetings, conference/phone calls and e-mail. This position is the main client and media point-of-contact for the execution of all client campaigns and thus must be across the delivery and coordination of all elements of the campaign. As the position is responsible for the management and delivery of all social media campaigns including organic posts, sponsored content and advertising, a proven background or extensive experience across Social Media channels and third party scheduling platforms is essential.
This role is extremely fast-paced and diverse and to be a successful Advertising and Social Media Account Coordinator you must be energetic, precise, accountable and have an exceptional eye for detail. Key responsibilities of this role will be;
Assistance with market analysis and research
Assistance with gaining briefs from clients and then developing strategic marketing plans
Refining key target audiences and demographics for client campaigns and developing a traditional and social media strategy to best reach and influence these audiences
Coordination and management of all client assets
Management of content scheduling
Development and execution of social media strategies which align with traditional media and overall campaign goals
Media planning and booking, including briefing media and analysing media proposals
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and media representatives
Preparing EOM billings
To be considered for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience working within media and/or advertising in a client relationship role;
Proven experience in client social media management and/or coordination;
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills;
Outstanding attention to detail and time management;
Friendly and outgoing attitude;
University qualifications (in advertising, communications or similar) would be advantageous, but not essential;
Experience working within an advertising agency would be beneficial.
